Volunteering
There are a range of community volunteer opportunities that you can get involved with, from helping to put up camera traps and feeders, participating in squirrel survey monitoring, undertaking grey squirrel control to enthusing the public and schoolchildren about red squirrels and teaching them how they can help too.

Would you like to help us with monitoring and record your sightings?
Recording sightings of squirrels is vital to help us to plan our conservation work and to monitor changes in squirrel range.
If you would like to report a red squirrel sighting, pleaseĀ click here. Red squirrel community groups monitor their local populations. You can help them by sharing any information on the health of the red squirrel and its location.
If you have seen a grey squirrel, pleaseĀ click here. Grey squirrel sightings help us to target control where necessary to protect our red squirrels from disease and competition.
